LTS Swine Starters

Early Wean

  • A specialized weaning starter for pigs under 10 lbs.
  • Specially formulated to help even the smallest pigs in the group get on feeding quickly, giving them excellent chance of keeping pace with the group and reaching market weight.
  • Contains very high levels of plasma, milk products, & highly digestible proteins/fats.

LTS Phase 1

  • A nutrient dense starter for weaned pigs from 10-12 lbs.
  • Promotes early feed intake while maintaining good manure consistency.
  • Contains high levels of milk products, blood plasma & highly digestible proteins/fats.

LTS Phase 2

  • The follow up starter for pigs from 12 to 18 lbs.
  • Milk products, blood plasma & highly digestible proteins promote rapid pig growth with excellent pig bloom, while maintaining good manure consistency.
  • Complete feed, or grind and mix with LTS Phase 2 Base, grain, soybean meal, & a fat source.

LTS Phase 3

  • The third stage diet for pigs from 18-25 lbs.
  • Contains moderate levels of milk products & highly digestible proteins to smooth the transition from a complex to more simple diet.
  • Complete feed, or grind and mix with LTS Phase 3 Base, grain, soybean mean, & a fat source.

LTS Phase 4

  • The fourth stage diet for pigs from 25-40 lbs.
  • This stage is designed for rapid, efficient, low cost gain.
  • Proper amino acid balance promotes muscle development, setting the stage for high lean gain in the growing-finishing period.

Show Feeds

1162 Big Gain Elite Show Feed Grower
This medicated feed is designed for cattle that are weighing up to 700-800 pounds, and is to be fed at a minimum of 1 pound per 100 pounds of body weight and up to 2% of body weight.

 

1161 Elite Show Feed Finisher
This medicated feed is designed for cattle that are weighing 700-800 pounds to market weight, and is to be fed at a minimum of 1 pound per 100 pounds of body weight and up to 2% of body weight.

 

1165 Elite Show Feed Supplement
This medicated feed is formulated to be fed along with forages and grains to match the goals of the producer and genetics of the animal up to a market weight. It is made up of highly digestible fiber, protein and carbohydrate sources and is fortified with chelated organic trace minerals. It should be fed at a rate of 3.5 lbs per head, per day, relative to bodyweight.

Gain Master Feeds

The Gain Master Starter and Grower feeds are ideal for calf raising programs or self-feeder starting programs. The Gain Master Finisher line is designed specifically for self-feeder diets.

  • Feed to calves of 10 to 12 weeks of age until they are approximately 500-550 lbs
  • Offer prescribed amount of 0.5 to 2 lbs of highly digestible hay to calves daily

Gain Master 55:35 RT #1707

  • Feed to cattle 550 lbs and heavier
  • Contains Rumensin (450 g/Ton) to control coccidiosis and improve feed efficiency
  • Contains Tylan (160g/Ton) to prevent liver abscesses

Below are answers to the some frequently asked questions we receive.

What premixed feed brands do you recommend?

We recommend Purina and Big Gain. These brands are a great balance between quality minerals, vitamins, and proteins for top animal nutrition. We have a variety of premixed feed options to suit the nutritional needs of your animals and to reach specific goals with your feed choice.

Do you carry any feed for small animals?

We do. We have feed for cats and dogs, as well as bird seed, ear corn, worm-chow and fish food.

What information does a customer need to provide for formulating rations?

Information to have on hand when wanting to formulate rations include:

  1. The kind of animal the feed is for
  2. The weight or average weight of the animals
  3. Age or growing phase of the animal
  4. How much current feed amounts are
  5. What type of feed or supplements are being fed now
  6. The future goals for that animal or livestock – are they pets, are they going to be harvested, are they breeding stock, etc.

How long does a custom feed order take?

We appreciate a three-day notice if possible to make the order. This helps us guarantee we have the right products available to complete the feed order.

How far do you deliver?

We deliver to a 30 mile radius of Clear Lake, Iowa, on Tuesdays and Fridays. In order to have your feed on time, make sure to place your order two days prior if at all possible.
